Corwin Brailey Harrison

Corwin Harrison is known for carrying a sketchbook everywhere as well as a quirky sense of humor. In terms of medium he tends to favor pen and ink and occasionally acrylic or oil paints. He has a slight preference to traditional mediums over digital. His style has thick, dark lines and a rugged visual quality with a great amount of attention to value and composition. Corwin enjoys using art to bring the fantastical to life and also has a fondness for conventional settings with an absurdist twist. Corwin has been influenced by cartoonists like Bill Watterson and Gary Larson and inspired by painters like Caravaggio, Titian and John Singer Sargent as well as more recent painters like Joseph Ryan and Catherine Kehoe.
